Sunday Morning Classes

What’s more fun than waking up early Sunday morning and learning about love? Nothing!
- Sunday school classes for junior & senior high youth are held from
9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
- Sunday school classes for elementary children are held from
11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m., during the 11 o’clock worship service.
Come join us for Bible stories, arts & crafts activities, songs, and learning more about God’s love in a diverse Christian community!

Elementary classes are offered for children Pre-K (4 years old) through 5th grade. They follow an innovative, biblically-based curriculum. Through storytelling, art, music, and games, children have the opportunity to explore stories from both the Old and New Testaments, as well as make new friends and grow in their faith. Children in the Elementary classes are offered a light snack.

All children aged 5 to 11 are encouraged to participate in our fantastic Children’s Choir, led by Christina Flores! They do such a fine job of making a joyful noise – join them!

Central Presbyterian offers two youth Sunday school classes. The junior high class is for 6th through 8th graders and the senior high class is for 9th through 12th graders. Both classes meet upstairs in the youth wing. The classes use a Bible-based curriculum. They discuss Bible verses and stories and how those might relate to our world today. With projects and activities that help shape their growing faith, our youth Sunday school class participants are poised to be the next generation of Christian leaders.
