Financial & Pledge Campaign Analysis
for 2008/2009

You will note that we continued our trend of a $50k+ December income. Total monthly income for December was $57,982, and total monthly expenses were $37,120. We received 141% of projected pledged gifts for the month. We also received a special gift of $10k; along with a special gift of $37k in November, $34k+ of which will pay for the repairs to the lighting and stained glass in the chancel.

End-of-the year numbers, actuals vs. projected: we received 114% of pledged gifts; only 71% of non-pledged gifts; 109% of total income; and, 110% of total expenses. We projected a total annual income of $401,050 and received $438,468; we projected total annual expenses of $430,185 and spent $474,344. Our total budget deficit for FY2008 was $35,876, which is 123% of our projected budget deficit of $29,135.

As for our pledge campaign for 2009: We ended our pledge campaign with 113 pledges totaling $341,903, which is $7,903 over of our goal of $334,000. Along with new members joining almost every Sunday, we will hopefully be able to meet and/or exceed our projected "Pledged Gifts Received" in FY2009.

As to our endowment fund: In FY2008 we withdrew $40,000 to supplement our cash flow. The endowment lost $99,415 in market value, and we received $17,610 in distributions as investment income. The current market value of the endowment as of December 31, 2009 is: $277,644.
