For more than fifteen years, Foundation For the Homeless (FFH) has mobilized the resources of the faith community to alleviate the suffering of Austin's homeless. By building relationships between volunteers from local congregations and homeless families with children, FFH helps families achieve and sustain independence. Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN), a major program of the Foundation, provides shelter, meals, and hospitality in the churches to help families in crisis. Central Presbyterian and other churches serve as hosts to three or four families for one week each quarter.
