Children & Teens

Central offers a variety of opportunities for children and youth of all ages, year-round – from Sunday school and childcare to lock-ins and retreats. Come join the fun!

Our Sunday morning programs are BACK!

We encourage CPC families to engage in our programs to bring the joy of God into your family’s lives through the grace of this blessed community.
Youth are encouraged to attend the worship service. Youth programming will be held after worship on scheduled Sundays each month. Please see below.

Registration is now open for Children & Youth Programs!

As we return to in-person worship since the pandemic, it is our calling as Christians to nurture the spiritual formation of our community right in the heart of our congregation. Please consider supporting the development of our Children and Youth programs. We seek enthusiastic members of CPC who wish to connect with our youth to engage and support their journey in faith as a community. Please contact Children and Youth Ministry Coordinator, Robyn Greer, to volunteer today.

Sunday Morning Classes

What’s more fun than waking up early Sunday morning and learning about love?

Childcare: 0 – 2 years

Care is available is available for children under 2 from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 each Sunday in the Childcare room.

“Growing in Grace”: 3 years old – 5th grade

Our Godly Play Sunday School activities have been adapted towards a co-learning experience for all children, ages 3 through 5th grade! Each week we will have prayer, a guided story lesson, activities, art, and games related to the topic and season.

CPC Youth Fellowship:  6th – 12th grades

We engage our Youth in a variety of activities like games, service projects, outdoor recreation, and advocacy work. By utilizing membership with the Mega Youth Foundation of the Greater Austin Presbyterian Youth community, we have monthly events with the lively and supportive Youth and Youth Sponsors of every Presbyterian Church around Austin!

Please reach out to Children and Youth Ministry Coordinator, Robyn Greer, to become a part of this thriving community.

Check-in & Pick-up on Sundays

We have a new and improved system for check-in! All registered participants are listed on the sign in board and their parents and guardians will need only to check off the day which they are attending! When you arrive in the Children’s Wing, our staff will greet you and can easily mark the child present, so that you can return quickly to worship while we begin our Sunday School programming.
If you have not previously signed your child in, we have a sign in sheet available so that we can easily gather the information needed, and it will be kept on file for future quick sign-ins!

Children are not allowed to leave the Children’s Wing without the adult that drops them off, so please return promptly after worship to reconnect with your little one and see what they learned in class!

You are welcome to drop in and even stay during this time when your child is in the Nursery or Children’s Wing, and take part in their learning and play time! We welcome you to engage with our caring Childcare Supervisor, Hortence, our talented Children’s Choir Director, Hannah Kriese, and all of the Staff here at  CPC! Our Children and Youth Coordinator, Robyn Greer, is always active, available, and excited to hear from you, so please reach out at any time!

We welcome the opportunity to serve our littlest members and share the joy of Christ’s love!

Childcare During the Week

We like to make it easy for adults with children to attend our gatherings! Child care is almost always available for church-sponsored activities during the week. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you need to bring the kids – our child care staff is here for you!
