The Central Presbyterian Church Young Adults Group offers an opportunity for fellowship, community service, and Christian education for single and married adults post-college age from Central. (We're flexible, so if you feel like a young/er adult, you are a young/er adult...) We meet for fellowship once a month. We usually alternate between meeting at someone's house and meeting at a local restaurant or bar.
Throughout the year we are involved in periodic community service with such organizations as Manos de Cristo and The Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH).
Now Meeting! The CPC young adults Christian education class meets on Sunday mornings during Fall, Winter, and Spring to focus on, discuss and explore a variety of issues: social, political, theological and how these issues are meaningful to our lives as young 21st century Christians. The class meets at 9:45 AM in Room 303 and is facilitated by a number of leaders. People are welcome to join the discussion at any time.
You can also join us on our Facebook group: CPC Young Adults
The group is currently led by Joseph Moore, Ann Marie Hoover, and Will Genrich, so let them know if you are interested in joining or have any questions.
