CPC Refugee Welcome Team — Request for Donations

We need the items listed below to support our new Refugee Family, when it arrives.

• If you can donate one or more items, please let us know by contacting the person listed below.
• Please also send a cc to: Cleon Dunham.
• For furniture items, they can be brought to a temporary storage facility in South Austin (contact Joe for information) or we can pick them up from your place.
• For other items you can bring them to the Church or we can pick them up.
• Please let us know your preference.
• If we pick them up, we’d like to do it just before the Family arrives (we don’t know when that will be).

If you would prefer to make a financial donation so we can purchase the items, that will be good too.

• In this case, please make your contribution out to the CPC Refugee Welcome Team and indicate that you would like for it to be used to purchase items for the Refugee Family.
• You can also make a general contribution; it will be used to help pay apartment rent for the family.

  • Beds for all members of the family. A double bed for Mom and Dad.
  • Dresser.
  • Dining room table.
  • Dining room chairs for all members of the family.
  • Sofa.
  • Rug(s).
  • Reading chair.
  • Reading lamp.
  • Desk.

• Apartment Beautification Items (Contact: Ariel Bleich)
  • Wall pictures. (May not include people’s faces or religious symbols.)
  • Flower vase.
  • Others.

• Communication Items (Contact: Kent Miller)
  • Radio.

  • Computer.

• Dishware and Household Items (Contact: Carlie Tilly)
  • Plates.
  • Silverware.
  • Cooking pots, pans, and utensils.
