Giving

Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14.
For generations, God’s spirit of courage and love has flowed through Central Presbyterian Church (CPC). Wherever you happen to be on your faith journey – completely lost or confidently stepping out – we are grateful to have you as part of our community. You are not alone. CPC is grateful for your devotion, your time, and your financial support.

CPC accepts general donations and donations designated for specific purposes.

Fund Descriptions

General Donation

General donations support the ongoing ministries and operations of CPC.

Stewardship

We are each stewards of our church community. Each fall we ask the CPC community to make a pledge for the following year to give of their financial resources to support the work and ministries of the church. Annual pledged gifts provide church leaders with clear information for use when planning the budget for the following year’s church ministries. Our church budget is made up of members’ and friends’ annual pledges, and informs all of our primary expenditures. These include (but are not limited to) staff salaries and compensation, building maintenance, music and worship activities, youth programs, and our local, state, national and international mission partnerships. Pledged gifts to the church are our primary source of income and are critical in helping us to be the church we strive to be together.

Pastor’s Discretionary Fund

The Pastor’s Discretionary Fund allows our ministers to assist members of our community and other needs as they arise.

Capital Campaign

Capital Campaign expenses include paying down previous loan commitments and supporting ongoing projects.

Neighbors (including Central Mission)

Donations to the Neighbors fund are used to purchase coffee, hygiene supplies, bus passes and other items for our neighbors experiencing homelessness, as well as the administrative, or indirect costs of operating the Central Mission Program.

Special Offerings

Through Special Offerings, we are faithfully working to inspire, equip and connect all Presbyterians to do Christ’s mission, bringing together congregations, worshiping communities, mid councils, mission networks, and other parts of the church ecosystem as they nurture and shape disciples and serve Christ in the world. CPC conducts several different special offering campaigns throughout the year.

However you give, and however much you give …Thank You for supporting CPC!
