Guest Preachers for September
Pastor Katheryn will be taking a post-summer break in September, but be sure to come to worship on Sundays to hear from these distinguished guests:
| Sept 11: Kyndall Rothus, author and spiritual director. After worship, she will lead a discussion on her book, Thy Queendom Come: Breaking Free from the Patriarchy to Save Your Soul. Sept. 18: Jared Slack, director of relationships and giving at The Other Ones Foundation, TOOF. TOOF is a nonprofit that offers humanitarian aid, case management, and extremely low-barrier work opportunities to people experiencing homelessness in Austin. Sept. 25: Reuben Lashley, PCUSA ordained minister and associate director of operations at Concentrix where he leads a team of specialists who help faith communities, nonprofits, and small businesses use social media tools to enhance their messaging and reach new audiences. |
