Join us for Lent!

The forty-day season of Lent has begun. Throughout this sacred season, we prepare our hearts for Easter joy and this year we have several opportunities to do that together

ONLINE – Check n’ Chat, Every Thursday at 1 pm Our Lenten Devotional Guide, Inward Work for Outward Living invites us to practice St. Ignatius of Loyola’s daily examen, a five-step daily prayer to reflect on one’s spiritual life.

ONLINE – Catalyst Class, Every Thursday from 7 p.m. -8 p.m.  This year’s six-week Lenten Bible Study will be taught by Rev. Jim Collier. We will be studying and meditating on the last words of Jesus from the cross as reported in three of the gospels.

IN PERSON – We’re also thrilled to offer themed Lenten Lunches each Sunday after worship in Smoot Hall!

Are you new to CPC and want to learn more about us? Are you a life-long member who feels new because of all the changes caused by the pandemic? Or do you fall somewhere between the two? Then this class is for you!
