CROP – Church Work Service News
The future of the United States’ life-saving refugee resettlement program is at risk. Last week, the administration floated the idea of not welcoming a single refugee into the U.S. next year. If this goes through, it will permanently deconstruct our country’s ability to be a safe haven for families fleeing danger. Through the CROP Hunger Walk, you provide a stabilizing source of food and water so that people don’t face desperation or exploitation in their home countries. But if you also believe that safe refuge is an important part of our American story, please take action today. This is a critical time for your voice to be heard.
